At American Black Belt Academy we offer a program for everyone! Martial Arts

If you have been yearning for a progressive toning and strengthening workout with the structure and flavor of a formal martial art, our Adult Martial Arts Conditioning Program is for you.

We practice a traditional based system of integrated martial arts called Kami Bushi Kai, which means “Divine Warrior System”. Kami Bushi Kai combines Japanese Shotokan Karate, Japanese & Brazilian Jiu-jitsu with American and Muay Thai kickboxing into one very flexible system that provides our students with an extremely effective way to defend themselves while getting in the best shape of their lives.

FITNESS WITH FOCUS

Our Martial Arts Conditioning Program offers specialized and unique fitness classes that you can’t get anywhere else. Whether you are interested in unique functional fitness training, or you wish to enhance your Martial Arts self defense and fighting training, the Martial Arts Conditioning Program brings a fresh experience to the total body workout. Featuring fitness techniques that include an awesome abdominal workout, cardio and body weight exercises that tone while burning calories and fat.

Our Martial Arts Functional Fitness Program integrates punches, kicks, knee and elbow strikes coupled with progressive physical conditioning to develop effective self defense skills while helping you lose weight, build muscle and transform your body. Additionally, each class is designed to challenge the student’s cardiovascular fitness and raise their level of conditioning. If you want an intense functional fitness workout that makes the monotonous treadmills, weight lifting and “muscle-head mentality” of gyms a thing of the past, you’ll find it here!

We welcome students of all levels in our classes. This incredible fitness program is great for men and women of all ages. Men build stronger and more defined arms and legs; women create lean and shapely thighs, hips and butt, and everyone builds confidence as they burn off a little steam.

Our Martial Arts Program combines Kickboxing, circuit training, and Martial Arts to give you an exhilarating calorie-burning program that challenges every inch of your body. It will improve your speed, resistance, and strength, as well as enhance your flexibility and reflexes. Plus the repetitive motion of sparring and footwork helps your arms and legs gain strength and power.

So whether your goal is to lose 5 or 50 pounds, sculpt your muscles, or toning your entire body this program will give you the sexy and shapely figure you’ve always wanted.

Fitness can be more fun than you imagined and martial arts is one of the best ways to build all-round fitness while developing your motor skills such as agility, coordination and balance. No one is too young or old, too small or too big to start feeling good about themselves, and American Black Belt Academy has a program for everyone.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE CONFIDENCEAdult Martial Arts

Learn to defend yourself in any situation. Shotokan Karate gives us very powerful strikes, kicks and blocks that can disable an opponent with one well-placed shot. Jiu-jitsu allows us to use throws, foot-sweeps, ground attack and escape strategies, chokes and joint locks to subdue an opponent without unnecessarily hurting them. Kickboxing gives us rapid hand combinations, devastating kicks, and footwork that allows us to evade an attack and set our opponent up for the finishing blow.

Our adult students also learn self-defense techniques and weapons training based on our Chief Instructors’ experiences as a member of the US Army Special Forces.

Classes are broken down according to age and ability.

We help you feel good about yourself by training your mind, body and spirit. Our commitment is to build and develop our students to become the best they can possibly be. As a student trains to increase their fitness levels in our Martial Arts Conditioning Program, or to develop the confidence that only a jiu jitsu self defense program can offer, they will experience progress, growth and change in the classroom and in many areas of their lives.
