We offer programs and classes to suit all different ages from our Children's Martial Arts; Karate and kid's Jiu-jitsu and Bully Defense classes, to our highly motivating adult and teen intergrated Martial Arts & Fitness, Gracie Brazilian Jiu-jitsu and Women’s Self-Defense classes. American Black Belt Academy’s total result-oriented program of self-defense, fitness and family fun is the reason why so many students have made us the area's premier Integrated Martial Arts Training Center. Additionally, we are the ONLY certified Team Tiger GRACIE JIU JITSU® Affiliate and Martial Arts University International school in the Athens Area.

Our classes are so unique and challenging we even have students and visitors coming from as far away as Atlanta. For over 5 years, The American Black Belt Academy Self Defense Training Center has been under the direction of former Army Special Forces Combat Veteran and multi system Black Belt, Shihan Randy McElwee. Shihan McElwee is recoginized as a world class martial arts professional and internationally known for unique adult and children’s programs."
